Poster guidelines

The Galala IDC Congress considers posters for presentation in a Digital Format. During the conference, posters will be displayed on LCD screens for viewing by congress attendees

E-Posters should adhere to the following formatting specifications:

  1. English language is mandatory to be used in the e-posters.
  2. Size of Poster:

-Pixels: The minimum recommended size (format WxH) is 1125 x 2000px and the maximum is 2250 x 4000px.

-DPI 300 pixels/inch

  1. Design: Use the PowerPoint template attached then export the file as PPT, pdf, PNG, or JPEG. 
  2. The poster should include a title, author names, and affiliations at the top. The main body of the poster should be divided into sections, such as introduction, methods, results, and conclusion.
  3. Font size: The font size should be large enough to be easily readable from a distance of several feet.
  4. The title should be the largest, followed by headings and subheadings. The body text should be at least 24-point font.
  5. Images: Images and figures can be used to illustrate the research and make the poster more visually appealing. They should be high-quality and clearly labeled.
  6. Content: The content of the poster should be concise and focused on the main points of the research. It should be easy to understand for a general audience.
  7. Proofreading: The poster should be proofread carefully for spelling and grammar errors before sending.
  8. Presentation: The presenter should be available to answer questions from attendees.

Important note: The presenting author MUST register at the Congress after the abstract is accepted to have the abstract included in the Congress program.
