Dr. Huda Fakhry who was born in Qatar on December 30th, 1986, has a significant academic
background that speaks volumes for her passion towards the field of dentistry. She attained her
Bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Science from Cairo University where she completed her
studies with excellence as part of the class of 2008. Dr. Fakhry went further to undertake
various positions within the Department of Prosthodontics, Cairo University – beginning as a
permanent resident between 2010-2013 until she was awarded her Master’s Degree in
Prosthodontics and earned subsequent roles such as Teaching Assistant and ultimately securing
an Assistant Lecturer role.
Following her academic career, her academic background includes earning a Doctorate degree
in Prosthodontics, which she received after completing her postgraduate studies in 2020 at
Cairo University where she now serves as a Lecturer of Prosthodontics.
Having worked since 2012 in the field of digital dentistry, Dr. Fakhry has become particularly
adept at using various design and manufacturing software programs while serving as Managing
Director for Digital Dental Laboratories for several years until being appointed to head up the
Central Digital Dental Center unit at Cairo University.
In addition to her work within academic career, Dr. Fakhry’s contributions to dental implant
education have been exemplary enough that she was awarded fellowship status by the Global
Dental Implant Academy back in 2019 where continues today as an instructor teaching others
about dental implant practice in Egypt.
