Ehab El Sayed Hassanein, M.Sc., Ph.D., is the Acting Vice President of Galala University, one of the new national universities in Egypt which is powered by Arizona State University in Egypt. He is also the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Galala University.
Dr. Hassanein received his Master and Ph.D. degrees in Endodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University. He is a Professor and former Head of the Department of Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at the 6th  October University.
Dr. Hassanein is a member of several prestigious local and international associations and societies, including the Egyptian Endodontic Society, the International Association for Dental Research, the American Association of Endodontists, and the European Society of Endodontology. He is also pursuing a career in stem cell research in the field of Endodontics.
Dr. Hassanein has been awarded several awards nationally and internationally. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and has presented more than 50 oral and poster presentations worldwide in the fields of Dentistry and Endodontics. He is currently supervising more than 100 dentists in master’s and Ph.D. programs. He also serves as a reviewer for several respectable international journals and has lectured at numerous national and international conferences. He served as a member of the Egyptian universities promotion committee of conservative dentistry.
Dr. Hassanein is a highly accomplished and respected academician and researcher. He has made significant contributions to the field of Endodontics and is an inspiration to his colleagues and students.j
