Everyday Endodontic Challenges

Workshop Objectives:

The workshop comprises both basic and advanced parts, aiming to provide predictable and evidence-based techniques in endodontics.

 

The basic part of this module will include topics about:

  • Principles of access cavity preparation and how it affects the concept of minimally invasive endodontics?
  • NiTi wires and how to properly choose the suitable endodontic rotary system according to each case?
  • Tooth morphology and anomalies, how to deal with Calcifications in the root canal system?
  • How to avoid missed canals and how to locate more canals?
  • How to understand and deal with curved canals?

 

The Advanced part will include:

  • The etiology, prevention, treatment, and prognosis of broken instruments.

Location: Faculty of Dentistry campus, Simulation laboratory
