Osteointegrated maligned implants in the anterior zone are one of the most upsetting cases a prosthodontist faces in their practice. Between the patients’ expectations after waiting months for their new smile and the prosthetic challenges, the prosthodontist is forced to choose between removing these badly placed implants and utilizing one and contemplating the other as a sleeping implant and/or grafting. The discussion will include a case study of a smile rehabilitation with improperly orientated implants and their management prosthetically and periodontally during a two-year period.
